Great Stay, Dec 2024
Great stay in what is an amazing and classy property. The staff were superb and the service was faultless. The food was great – perhaps a little pricey (but The Bahamas is fairly expensive on the food front). In addition to paid excursions, the property also offers a number of free activities – cycling, pickleball, kayaking, paddle boarding, etc. Overall an amazing and relaxing trip.
Second Visit, Oct 2024
Second visit in as many years and I can’t distinguish which was the better of the two. They were both great. Excellent staff, not to mention the great food that was served. My compliments to the kitchen staff. Got to meet Yellow the painter and even took pics with him. Chuck the maintenance man handled a minor problem in our room with a quick response. Hamilton went out of his way to help me with my wife. They say the third time’s a charm, and we’ll find out in Oct 2025.
Beautiful Stay, Nov 2024
My husband and I visited Caerula Mar for a four-night stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The staff were phenomenal—on every detail with a smile. Our room was 104, overlooking the pool and ocean, perfect for relaxing with breakfast and a book on our private terrace. The food was really good, and the coffee bar in the morning was easy and tasty. The lunch menu was great, and dinner was small but delicious. A perfect place for a real getaway.
Beautiful Beach Vacation, May 2024
Best beach vacation ever! My friends and I had the best vacation here. It is so relaxing and quiet along the beautifully maintained beach. There are plenty of activities like paddle boarding and kayaking. The pool area is lovely as well. Our room was so comfortable and clean, just a few steps from the beachfront. Perfect for a family trip or a relaxing getaway with friends. Can’t wait to be back.
Extremely Relaxing, May 2024
This is the most relaxing place we’ve been. The entire resort was extremely nice, and the staff was both friendly and attentive; we never lacked for anything. There are multiple activities available, including snorkeling, fishing, and a blue hole hike. We will definitely come back.
Perfect Getaway, Apr 2024
A perfect anniversary getaway. A very quiet and peaceful week with great staff and a lovely pool that was always the perfect temperature. We arranged a private outdoor dinner that we helped create. The food was amazing, and the pizza oven lunches were a hit. We stayed in an oceanfront villa, beautifully appointed with snacks and beverages. It was lovely having coffee on our porch every morning.
Paradise Found, Dec 2023
Paradise! Beautiful resort, exceptional food and drinks, staff went above and beyond, gorgeous beach, and beautiful rooms. The Baeumlers went all out building and designing Caerula Mar. Margaret and Ron made us feel so welcome. Bonus—we met Sarah Baeumler on our last day! A very relaxing vacation in paradise. We will definitely be back.
Quiet Family Trip, May 2023
We spent a week at Caerula Mar in April 2023 on a family trip with our two teenage sons. We thought it was one of the most relaxing places we’d ever been, and the boys loved being in the middle of nowhere. The food is great, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. We stayed in Villa #2, which is probably the nicest place to wake up on the planet.
Hidden Gem, Mar 2024
From the moment we stepped off the plane with an easy, quick flight from Maker’s Air to our arrival at Congo Town, we were welcomed by warm staff with cold water and refreshing towels. The charm and warmth of the decor added to the ambiance, creating a cozy and inviting environment. The dining options were limited but exceptional. We can’t wait to return and experience its tranquility once again. Highly recommend!

From beginning to end, the service was polished and friendly. Dining room and beach bar service were extremely accommodating to personal requests regarding cocktails and food selections. The property was beautiful, with attention to detail in every area. We had beachfront Villa 2, Villa 5, and a Club Suite. The men enjoyed fishing while the ladies lounged. A truly delightful stay.
Bahama Breeze Meets Luxury, Jun 2024
The resort exceeded our expectations! The staff were among the most friendly and helpful we’ve encountered. We visited for our anniversary and stayed in Villa 4. The decor and comfort were off the charts. The food was outstanding, with Chef Carlos impressing us every meal. Margaret and her staff made us feel like the only guests on the island. Highly recommend!
